General Condition and Policies

Cancellation Policy:

The hostel has a 72 hours cancellation policy.

You must let us know by phone or email 72 hours before your arrival date at 3:00 pm (our check in time) if you wish to cancel, otherwise, you will be charged for one night.

No-Show Policy: 

If you do not arrive by the latest check in time that you give to us and after 11:00 pm, you still do not show up, your reservation will be cancelled and your credit card will be charged for one night's stay.

Please call to change your latest check in time if you think that you are going to arrive later.

Check in

New Arrivals can check into the hostel after 3:00 pm each day.

Valid identification is a requirement. We accept a Passport, Photo ID and / or Driver's License. Management may request additional information as required from guests.

All rooms / dorm beds are payable in advance by 11:00 am. Over holding is not permitted

A $30.00 deposit is required for linen sets and entry keys, which will be refunded upon check-out.

Check out

Departing guests must remove all of their belongings from their rooms by 11:00 am. Any rented goods, such as towels or locks must be returned upon check-out.

Smoking / Alcohol / Drugs / Weapons

Smoking is not permitted within the premises. Any guest found smoking within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not receive a refund.

Consuming Alcohol or drugs within the premises is strictly prohibited. The management reserves the right to confiscate alcohol or drugs found on the premises.

It is prohibited to bring weapons of any kind into the hostel.

Violations of the above rules will result in immediate termination of residency.

General Conditions

We do not allow local residents to stay in our hostel. This is to maintain an international atmosphere and availability for travelers.

We also cannot accommodate some guests with limited mobility, our historic building does not have an elevator.

We do not offer long-term accommodation. Guests can make a reservation no more than one week, and there is no weekly or monthly rate discount.

Guests cannot use the hostel for any commercial purposes.

Lockers are located in the dorm rooms. Guest should provide their own lock or rent one from Management.

Turtle Hostel is not responsible for any bodily harm, theft, loss or damage to any personal property.

A refund will apply for early departure subject to charge one more night’s accommodation fee.

Guests who have been evicted will not receive a refund.

Guests will be expected to reimburse the hostel for any damages caused by inappropriate behavior. Inappropriate behavior will result in eviction from the premises with no refund.

For security reasons some common areas are under video surveillance.

Property left at the hostel will be disposed of after 15 days.

Limited parking may be available for a daily fee. Check with Management.
